Gameplay Updates

  1. Ported to JavaScript
  2. New intro
  3. Controls displayed when invalid input is received
  4. Displays like a NES on an NTSC TV
    • 256x240 resolution
    • 8/7 NTSC 4:3 pixel aspect ratio
    • 8 overscan lines at the top and 5 at the bottom for 227 visible scanlines
  5. Display can be arbitrarily resized to any size while maintaining proper aspect ratio
  6. Restart the game from game over screen
  7. Hurry time changed from 75 to 100

    • Green bird will not turn around
    • Raccoon just walks around
    • Wizard just walks around
    • Ghost will fly around where Hop was last seen
  22. Boss flashes briefly when hurt and flashes when dying
  23. Music does not resume after killing the boss

  3. Enemies and items respawn after player death
  4. Message text is behind the sprites
  5. Signs are not functional
